February 24, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 083-98 SUBJECT : Reduction SIPF Monthly Dues Please be informed that the Board of Trustees of the Securities Investors Protection Fund (SIPF), Inc., reduced the monthly dues of stockbrokers from 1/500 of 1% of the gross volume of transactions to 1/1000 of 1%. The reduction shall be for six (6) months from January 1, 1998 to June 30, 1998. After that time, the SIPF Board of Trustees shall look at the market condition obtaining then and decide whether the reduction shall remain or return to the former rate of 1/500 of 1%.
