February 9, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 059-98 SUBJECT : New Features of Maktrade The recently issued rule on time stamping as contained in Article 25 of our trading rules mandates that "Time recording of subsequent action on an order whether for amendment, cancellation or actual matching thereof shall be captured by the computerized trading system of the Exchange. Any such information shall be printed and made available for legal and/or audit purposes." In compliance with this requirement, the Maktrade System has been enhanced to log all the details of a broker's transactions and generate a report at the end of the trading day. (Please see attached sample report). The Order Log Report will list the date, time, and other relevant information of a broker's order entry, execution, modification and/or cancellation. This report can be printed at the trader's terminal on the floor about fifteen minutes after Market Close. SIRON Head, Automated Trading Group HOW TO ACCESS THE ORDER LOG REPORT PROGRAM 1. Go to the Program Manager (Alt+Tab). 2. Click on the Order Log Report icon. 3. Wait for several messages to appear: Connecting to server . . . , Transferring report file . . . , and Generating OLR report . 4. A dialog box will appear: 5. Click Printer if you want to print your report, otherwise choose Save to Drive A : if you want to save your file in a diskette. LLjur Note : Use the standard size paper when printing your report. 6. Click OK if you want to continue printing or saving of report, or Cancel to abort the program. Attached is a sample Order Log Report. ORDER LOG REPORT
