February 2, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 049-98 SUBJECT : Maktrade System Changes Please be informed of the following new features incorporated into the Maktrade System: 1. Expiration date of Warrant issues can now be viewed on the Stock Information window (F4). This information is displayed on the " Expiration " field if the issue is a warrant, otherwise the data field will display the ' Div/Rights ' ex-date. Please see the modified fields in the attached sheet. 2. A new external sorting program SORTER has been installed to handle the problem in printing the ABC/DTR report when the deals exceed 500. Previously the buy/sell transactions are incorrectly sorted when the deals exceed 500, resulting to incorrect aggregation and subtotals. For this case, brokers should now use the newly installed sorter program which can be accessed through the Program Manager. For information on how to use this, please refer to the attached guide. 3. Brokers need not type ' c : \nlkos\stock . txt when saving their transactions, instead they may simply type ' stock . txt '. This file will be saved in the newly created PSE directory. 4. The Links option of the Navigator Menu has an added feature wherein if activated, the stock symbol typed in the Stock Information window will also reflect in the Order Entry and Time & Sales windows. Please see the attached guide on how to activate the Links feature. If you have further questions regarding the above changes, please approach the Help Desk staff at the trading floor.
