January 6, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 002-98 SUBJECT : Time Stamping Machines The recently issued rule on time stamping as contained in Article 25 of our trading rules mandates that "Each buying and selling order form shall be time stamped by the broker or dealer or any other associated person or salesman of a broker/dealer or any person acting on his behalf upon receipt of the customer's order and upon transmission to the trading floor, if necessary." The above rule requires brokers to have a time stamping machines at the place where they initially receive the client's orders either at the floor, their dealing offices or both. To assist the brokers in the economical purchase of a heavy duty machine, the Exchange has canvassed from various suppliers and the cheapest appropriate unit is that of a SEIKOSHA TP-10 at this sliding unit price schedule: regular price P16,980.00 20-75 units 13,500.00 above 75 units 12,900.00 Please accomplish the reply form below and fax it back to us not later than Monday January 12, for immediate purchasing and delivery.
