Garcia Head, Listing Department Gentlemen/Mesdames : Pursuant to SEC and PSE's disclosure requirements, please be advised that the Board of Directors during its regular quarterly meeting held on May 6, 1998, approved the following matters: (1) The Agenda for the July 20, 1998 Annual Stockholders Meeting; (2) The record date at the close of trading hours on May 22, 1998 for the purpose of determining who the stockholders shall be entitled to notice of and to vote at, the Annual Stockholders Meeting; (3) The additional funding in the amount of P3.3 billion for its Group A Expansion Projects of the Bataan Refinery, its Mixed Xylene Project, and its various Marketing projects.
