May 6, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 958-98 SUBJECT : Alsons Cement Corporation Further to Circular No. 788-98 dated April 24, 1998, Alsons Cement Corporation ("ALC") furnished the Exchange on May 4, 1998 a copy of SEC Form 34-A (Definitive Proxy Statement) in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on May 26, 1998 , at 2:00 p.m., at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, Makati City. The agenda for the meeting shall be as follows: 1. Approval of the Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Stockholders held on 28 May 1997; 2. Approval of Annual Report of the President and the Audited Financial Statements of the Company as of 31 December 1997; 3. Ratification of all acts, contracts, investments and resolutions of the Board of Directors and Management since the last annual meeting; 4. Election of the members of the Board of Directors; 5. Appointment of External Auditors; 6. Other matters as may properly come after 4 May 1998 and before 26 May 1998.
