Relative to the news article captioned "Bacnotan up on bargain-hunting" published in the April 28, 1998 issue of Today, Bacnotan Consolidated Industries, Inc. ("BCI"), in response to the letter of the Exchange dated April 28, 1998, stated that: ". . . BCI is of the opinion that the said news article does not warrant a written clarification/confirmation.
