Gentlemen : Please be informed that at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Far East Bank and Trust Company (the "Bank") held on 27 April 1998, the promotion of Mr. Emilio S. de Quiros, Jr. from Senior Vice-President and Treasurer to Executive Vice-President was approved. cdt At the same meeting, Mr. de Quiros was likewise appointed as Trust Officer and Head of the Bank's Trust Banking Group, effective 1 May 1998. In view of the vacancy thus created in the Office of the Treasurer, Mr. Vicente L.
