("AB") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-A (Definitive Proxy Statement), including its 1998 Audited Financial Statements, in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on May 21, 1999 , at 4:00 P.M. at the 18th Floor, Conference Room, Aurora Tower, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. The meeting shall be held for the following purposes: 1. To elect a board of directors to hold office until the next annual meeting of stockholders or until their respective successors have been elected or appointed; 2. To ratify the appointment of the accounting firm of Tulio, Lim, Evangelista and Co., Inc. as independent auditors of the company for the current year; and 3. To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment or postponement thereof.
