Ong VP Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen : Thank You for your fax letter which we received today asking us to make an official, full, fair, and accurate written disclosure on the news article you attached, captioned "SM Prime sees 20% increase in first quarter," published in the 23 April 1998 issue of Philippine Star. As you stated in your letter, "The article reported that SM Prime Holdings, Inc. expects a 20% increase in its first quarter income." The figure cited was a mere projection or estimate or the first quarter performance as reported by the newspaper.
