Garcia Head Listing Department Gentlemen : In compliance with the existing rules of the Exchange, please be informed that in a special meeting of the Board of Directors of Filinvest Land, Incorporated (the "Corporation") held on April 13, 1999, the Board of Directors has resolved to postpone the Annual Meeting of Stockholders scheduled on May 14, 1999 to May 21, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. in view of the absence of the chairman of the Board of Directors, the Vice-Chairman and the President who are set to arrive from a foreign trip on May 15, 1999. The postponement is necessary to enable the aforesaid officers of the Corporation to be present and to deliver their messages to the stockholders on the aforementioned annual meeting.
