April 21, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 740-98 April 20, 1998 Securities and Exchange Commission SEC Building, EDSA Mandaluyong City Philippine Stock Exchange PSE Centre, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City Gentlemen : Please be advised that at the annual meeting of the stockholders of the Company this morning: 1) the stockholders approved the proposed increase of authorized capital stock from P1.2 billion to P2.4 billion; 2) the stockholders approved the proposed extension of the term of the Corporation for another fifty (50) years from May 30, 1999, the expiry of the original term; LLpr 3) the stockholders disapproved the proposed increase in par value from P0.01 to P1.00 per share; 4) the following were elected to the Board of Directors; Felipe U.
