April 21, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 736-98 April 20, 1998 PHILIPPINE STOCK EXCHANGE PSE Centre, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City Gentlemen : Pursuant to your disclosure rules, we wish to inform you that a recent drilling in the Victoria Gold area has intersected a zone in the order of 10-15 meters wide which yielded exceptional grades of 2-3 percent copper and 20-30 grams per ton gold. This compares sharply to the enargite copper mine which produced only an average of 2.2 percent copper and 3.4 grams per ton gold, after mining it for 61 years. cdlex More exploration drilling will have to be done in 1998 to determine the ore reserves of this significant discovery.
