Luisa Buenaventura RE : Global Equities, Inc . Gentlemen : Please be advised that the annual stockholders meeting of the Company cannot be held on 30 April 1998, the last Friday of April, as provided in the Company's By-Laws, because the audit of the Company's subsidiaries have not yet been completed as of date. The Company needs additional time to complete the said audit and to prepare the documentary reports regarding the same which is required by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Annual Stockholders Meeting has therefore been rescheduled to 28 May 1999 at 8:00 a.m.. In connection with the foregoing, please note that the record date of stockholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting is set on 30 April 1999 subject to the approval of the same by the Philippine Stock Exchange.
