De Guia Assistant Manager Gentlemen : This is in response to your letter faxed to us today requesting us for comments on the newspaper reports on the purchase of the Lopez & Gokongweis' interests in PCIB. Said newspaper reports did not originate from us nor were they validated with us. At this point in time, we have nothing to report that could be of any material consequence to our investor constituent/stockholders and to the public in general.
