March 8, 2000 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 590-00 SUBJECT : Alsons Cement Corporation With reference to Circular for Brokers No. 544-2000 dated March 2, 2000 relative to the payment date for the P0.01 per share cash dividend of Alsons Cement Corporation ("ALC"), ALC clarified that the said dividend referred to in its previous disclosure was declared in 1998, with the record date of June 16, 1998, against the Company's 1997 earnings.
