LLphil While it is true that we are currently holding talks with some foreign retailers (Wal-Mart being one of them), such talks are exploratory in nature, the objective which is to identify possible areas of cooperation, in preparation for the possible lifting of the Retail Trade Law banning foreigners to engage in retail trade.
