March 22, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 552-99 SUBJECT : Metro Pacific Corporation Metro Pacific Corporation ("MPC") clarified to the Exchange, a news article published in the March 11, 1999 issue of the Business World regarding the government's non-delivery of the 64-hectare property in Fort Bonifacio to Metro Pacific Corporation: MPC, in its letter, informed that: " . . . Bonifacio Land Corporation and the Government arrived at a consensus regarding the non-delivery of the 64-hectare property. However, since the issue requires the sign-off of President Joseph Estrada, we cannot provide any further details. The settlement underwent a review process by the Government Corporations Monitoring Coordinating Committee ("GCMCC') which provided its endorsement and passed the matter on to the President for final approval."
