(PSE) Philippine Stock Exchange Center Exchange Road, Ortigas Center Pasig, Metro Manila Attention: Ms. Grace B. de Guia Assistant Manager Gentlemen/Mesdames : Pursuant to SEC's and PSE's disclosure requirements, we wish to inform you that the company officials have been invited to the Committee on Energy hearing at the House of Representatives this afternoon in connection with certain proposals concerning the Oil Deregulation Law. We believe that these officials may be asked to report on the financial status of Petron. We wish to inform that the preliminary estimate of the Company indicates that for the first 2 months of the year, the company may lose about P500 million.
