March 2, 2000 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 529-00 SUBJECT : Universal Robina Corporation Further to Circular for Brokers No. 477-2000 dated February 28, 2000, Universal Robina Corporation ("URC") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-C (Preliminary Information Statement), including its 1999 Financial Statements, in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on April 13, 2000 , at 4:00 p.m. at the Amorsolo Grand Ballroom, Manila Galleria Suites, Asian Development Bank Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The agenda for the meeting shall be as follows: 1. Proof of notice of meeting and the existence of a quorum. 2. Reading and approval of the Minutes of the Annual Stockholders' Meeting held on April 22, 1999. 3. Presentation of Annual Report and approval of Financial Statements for the preceding year. 4. Ratification of all acts of the Board of Directors and Management since the last annual meeting. 5. Election of Directors. 6. Election of External Auditors. 7. Consideration of such other matters as may properly come during the meeting. 8. Adjournment As previously announced, only stockholders of record as of March 14, 2000 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting.
