Stock Exchange Centre Exchange Road, Ortigas Center, City of Pasig Attention: Listing and Disclosure Department Gentlemen: We would like to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom) in its regular meeting held today, February 28, 2000, accepted the resignation of Mr. Nelson Chua Nai Tuen as Director. The Board consisting a majority of the remaining directors, elected Mr. Isidro C. Alcantara, Jr. as Director, to serve as such for the unexpired portion of the term, and also as President/CEO of the bank effective March 1, 2000. The Board confirmed the appointment of Mr. Henry Y.
