Garcia Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen: Please be informed that as approved by the Board of Directors of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), the Annual Stockholders' Meeting of BPI originally scheduled on the second Tuesday of April (April 11, 2000) as per our By-Laws is being moved to 15 May 2000, in view of the forthcoming mergers between BPI and Far East Bank and Trust Company and between BPI and Ayala Insurance Holdings Corporation. As in the past, the meeting will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Inter Continental, Makati City.
