Marzan, Globe Telecom, Inc.'s Corporate Secretary, requesting for our written confirmation/clarification on the news item which appeared in the Philippine Daily Inquirer of March 11, 1999 that "Globe Telecom is set to sign on Monday an agreement that will give the company the opportunity to take a first crack at buying Isla Communications, Inc."
