No. AS092-000589 Disclosure Statement 98-05 Gentlemen : Please be advised that the Securities and Exchange Commission has granted the Corporation's request for authority to change the venue of the special stockholder's meeting adjourned last March 10, 1998 (and reset to May 06, 1998) and the annual meeting originally scheduled on May 06, 1998 [Ref. Disclosure Statement No. 98-04). The Chairman has proposed that both meetings be convened in Makati City on May 15, 1998, instead of the original schedule of May 06, 1998, to ensure that printing of the annual report will be completed in time for the annual meeting, considering the heavy work load now facing local printers because of the May 11, 1998 elections. prLL The Corporation will file a request with the Commission to reset the special stockholders' meeting and annual meeting to May 15, 1998 shortly.
