March 18, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 396-98 SUBJECT : Asia Amalgamated Holdings Corporation Additional Listing Please be informed that on August 13, 1997, the Exchange approved the listing application of ASIA AMALGAMATED HOLDINGS CORPORATION to list additional 60,000.000,000 common shares , with a par value of P0.01 per share , to cover the Company's 3:1 pre-emptive rights offering to stockholders of record as of September 3, 1997 , at an offer price of P0.01 per share . Further to Company Notice No. 16 dated January 7, 1998, the par value of the Company has increased from P0.01 to P1.00 per share . Thus, the number of shares for listing is adjusted from 60,000,000,000 common shares to 600,000,000 common shares to reflect the new par value.
