Garcia Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen : Please take note that in accordance with Article IV of our Amended By-Laws, the Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Inter-Continental, Makati City, Metro Manila, on Tuesday, 13 April 1999, at 9:00 o'clock in the morning, for the purpose of electing directors for the ensuing year and the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the said meeting; and that pursuant to Article XIII of said By-Laws, the Stock. and Transfer Book of BPI will be closed from 13 March to 13 April 1999.
