Indicate the item numbers reported herein: Item # 9 SuperFerry 3 Vessel Fire We wish to inform you that one of our passenger/cargo vessel, the MV SuperFerry 3 caught fire last Tuesday, February 8, 2000, at about 11:05 in the morning while undergoing regular dry docking and repairs at the Keppel Cebu Shipyard in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. There were no casualties. All 223 technical officers and hotel crew detailed at the ship are safe and accounted for. The cause of the fire and the actual cost of damage, is still being determined pending completion of the joint investigation by the WG&A contingency team and representatives from the ship's insuring company. Under these circumstances, we wish to assure everyone concern that this unhappy event will not in any manner adversely affect the financial condition of the company.
