Gentlemen : Please take note that in accordance with Article IV of our Amended By-Laws, the Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), will be held at the 20th Floor, BPI Building, Ayala Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas, Makati City, Metro Manila, on Tuesday, 14 April 1998, at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of electing directors for the ensuing year and the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the said meeting; and that pursuant to Article XIII of said By-Laws, the Stock and Transfer Book of BPI will be closed from 14 March to 14 April 1998. dctai Thank you.
