Grace B . de Guia Disclosure Department Ladies and Gentlemen : We refer to your fax letter which we received at 9:51 a.m. today, requesting for written confirmation/clarification on the news article entitled "PLDT still looking for new partner as Viva talk fail", published in the February 10, 2000 issue of Business World, which reported that PLDT is currently on the lookout for another partner/provider after talks with Viva Entertainment Group failed. We advise that PLDT is not involved in any discussions with Viva or any other group involved in broadcast. The article is purely speculative on the part of the reporter.
