QUERIJERO Attorney V Docket and Process Division Securities Investigation and Clearing Department SEC CASE NO. 06-99-6340 IN THE MATTER OF: PETITION FOR SUSPENSION OF PAYMENT, FORMATION AND APPOINTMENT OF REHABILITATION RECEIVER/COMMITTEE AND APPROVAL OF REHABILITATION PLAN. UNIWIDE SALES, INC., et al., Petitioners. ORDER In a motion dated 2 December 1999, the petitioner manifested that in order to have the Interim Receivership Committee an ample time to study and assess the viability of the Rehabilitation Plan as well as the comments of the creditors and so as not to render nugatory or ineffectual the implementation of the said plan, the petitioners move for the extension of the effectivity of the Suspension Order for another sixty (60) days. prcd Likewise, the Interim Receivership Committee, in a letter dated December 6, 1999, signed by its Chairman, manifested the positive result on the infusion of the new equity into the retail business of the petitioners which may significantly affect the Rehabilitation Plan and may require amendment thereof. For this reason, the Interim Receivership Committee is joining the motion of the petitioners and also seeks the postponement of the December 9, 1999 previously set creditors' meeting. WHEREFORE, finding the motion/request to be meritorious, the effectivity of the suspension Order is hereby extended for another sixty days or until the 7th day of February, 2000 and that the creditors' meeting set on December 9, 1999 is hereby postponed. Accordingly, all claims against the petitioners remain suspended as indeed the Commission would also need enough time to study the plan after its consideration by the creditors and that the creditors' meeting shall be scheduled soon. The counsel for the petitioners is hereby directed to furnish with a copy of this Order to the creditors. SO ORDERED. City of Mandaluyong, Philippines cdll December 8, 1999 (SGD.) PERFECTO R.
