February 22, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 315-99 February 19, 1999 Philippine Stock Exchange PSE Center, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City Ladies and Gentlemen : We advice that our subsidiary, Pilipino Telephone Corporation ("Piltel"), met today with its creditors and presented various proposals for Piltel's business recovery and financial restructuring.
