Gentlemen: In reply to your fax message of December 7, 1999, regarding the news article entitled "Metrobank unit buys AsianBank for P2B" published in the December 7, 1999 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, we confirm that Philippine Savings Bank has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the outstanding capital stock of AsianBank.
