Grace B . de Guia Assistant Manager Head, Disclosure Department Gentlemen: The Philippine Savings Bank, in behalf of Metrobank Group, has entered into an agreement with the A. Soriano Corporation. PHINMA and Philippine Long Term Equity Fund for the acquisition of 100% of the capital stock of Asian Bank at a negotiated price. Details of the acquisition, including obtaining Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas approval, will be spelled out in a Memorandum of Agreement to be signed in a few days. cdll The Share Purchase Agreement will be documented at a later date.
