December 3, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 3081-99 SUBJECT : Rule on Registration of Securities for IPO with the PCDI Please be informed that in a letter dated 29 November 1999, the Securities and Exchange Commission advised the Exchange that it has passed and approved during its meeting of 11 November 1999 the following rule submitted by the Exchange: LibLex As a matter of policy, the Exchange requires the applicant company to register and lodge its securities for IPO with the Philippine Central Depository, Inc. (PCDI). Actual listing and trading of shares on the scheduled listing date shall take effect only upon submission by the applicant company of a sworn corporate secretary's certificate stating that all the shares have already been properly lodged with the PCDI. llcd When a subscriber requests for the issuance and delivery of stock certificates, his corresponding securities shall be uplifted from the PCDI. The stock certificates shall be issued and delivered to him after the actual date of listing.
