De Guia Assistant Manager, Disclosure Department Gentlemen: This refers to the news article published in today's issue of the Business World entitled "Ayala Waiting for 'right time' to bid for Ortigas Development", in respect of which you requested us to issue a clarification/confirmation. Notwithstanding the comment attributed to a "company source" which the said article has not identified, please be advised that Ayala Land is currently not waiting for the "right time" to bid for the Greenhills Complex, and is not involved at this time in serious discussions with the Ortigas Family with respect to the acquisition of the Greenhills complex. prcd Thank you.
