Grace B . de Guia Disclosure Department Ladies and Gentlemen: We refer to Press Release entitled "PLDT Reports Increased Subscriber Base, Improved Third Quarter Profits and Stronger Cash Flow" which we filed this morning. We wish to correct the amount of net cash from operating activities for the first nine months in 1998 stated in the second line of the fifth paragraph. The amount should be P8.2 billion and not P9.1 billion Thus, this line should read as follows: LibLex ". . .
