During the Special Meeting of the Registrant's Board of Directors held on 12 November 1999 the Board accepted the resignation of Khoo Kay Peng as Chairman and member of the Registrant's Board of Directors. The Board, still consisting a quorum, elected Mr. Chye Kuok Khoon Ho as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Ho Shut Kan as member of the Board in replacement of Mr. Khoo. cdlex Mr. Ho Shut Kan, aged 50, is a director of Kerry Properties Limited. He is an Executive Director of Kerry Properties (H.K.) Limited. From 1985 to 1990, he was a director and the Group General Manager of the principal Kerry Group Hong Kong property operating company. Mr. Ho has over 20 years experience in the property field in Hong Kong and Peoples' Republic of China. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of East Asia. He is presently a member of the Human Resources Committee of the Housing Authority of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Legal Action Fund Management of the Consumer Council of Hong Kong.
