Almadro VP-Compliance & Surveillance Group Gentlemen: We refer to your letter dated 29 October 1999, a copy of which has been circulated to the directors of the Company. The Company has now been informed by its substantial shareholders that they have received expressions of offer from interested parties to purchase for cash their shareholdings in Magnum Holdings, Inc. (MHI). The substantial shareholders have not yet made a decision on these offers.
