Jose Emilio B . Jamir RE : Joint Venture Agreement Gentlemen : Please be advised that tonight at 8:00 p.m., Selecta Dairy Products, Inc. and Unilever Philippines, Inc., will sign a Joint Memorandum to enter into a Joint Venture that will engage in the ice cream business in the Philippines. This memorandum will be subject to the signing of a formal joint venture agreement scheduled within the next few weeks. The joint venture is slated to start operations early next year. Under the plan, Selecta will hive down its ice cream business into a new company that will be owned jointly by Selecta and Unilever Management of the new company will consists of both Selecta and Unilever staff.
