December 17, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2784-98 SUBJECT : RFM Corporation With reference to RFM Corporation's ("RFM") Tender Offer Report, as previously disclosed in Circular No. 2703-98, RFM further explained that: ". . . there is no plan to delist the securities of Selecta. RFM, through its offer to the Selecta's shareholders to exchange their shares with RFM shares, is merely providing said shareholders an opportunity to move into a more actively traded stock and more broadly diversified food company that RFM represents. On the matter of the Selecta and Unilever joint venture, this is to inform you that the discussion between the parties is approaching the final stage.
