Isabel Garcia Officer-in-Charge Gentlemen: Please be informed that the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Far East Bank and Trust Company (FEBTC) last night signed a definitive agreement for the merger of FEBTC with and into BPI, subject to shareholders and regulatory approvals. llcd The merger shall be implement via a swap of shares at the conversion of 0.6992 BPI share for every 1 FEBTC share.
