("MRPI") furnished the Exchange a copy of its Information Statement in connection with its Special Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on November 15, 1999 , at 3:00 p.m., at the Palawan Ballroom, Garden Wing Shangri-La's Edsa Plaza Hotel, 1 Garden Way, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. As previously announced, stockholders of record as of October 18, 1999 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting.
