Dear Ms. De Guia: In reference to your facsimile dated October 15, 1999 regarding the news item in the Malaya entitled "Metrobank buys P2B FEBTC shares", the Bank has received verbal advice that Social Security System (SSS) has indeed sold about 37.262 million of its Far East Bank shares on October 14, 1999.
