October 14, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2627-99 SUBJECT : Gotesco Land, Inc . In connection with Civil Case No. 24421, filed by the Philippine Tourism Authority against Gotesco Land, Inc. ("GO") and Gotesco Properties, Inc. pertaining to the defendants' failure to perform their obligations in the Joint Venture Agreement for the rehabilitation and improvement of plaintiff's Kang-Irog Golf Course in Cebu, GO informed the Exchange that the Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Cebu City issued on October 7, 1999 a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) for 72 hours enjoining the company, their agents and representatives to cease and desist from continuing the development. A subsequent order dated October 11, 1999, relative to the same case, Region, Branch 22, Cebu City, extended the period of effectivity of the TRO by another seventeen (17) days after taking into account the original 72 hours previously granted by the office of the Executive Judge. prcd For your information.
