De Guia Assistant Manager RE : Armstrong Holdings Incorporated Gentlemen: We refer to your fax letter today seeking clarification/confirmation of the news article published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer which reported that, as disclosed by Mr. Dante Tan, there are plans to list Armstrong Holdings, Incorporated (the Company) in the NASDAQ, the tech stock board of the Dow Jones in the United States. We wish to inform you that the Company, at present, is in the process of adapting a five-year business plan which may or may not include the internet technology or e-commerce related business. With this view, the listing of the shares of stock of the Company with the NASDAQ shall be taken into consideration and evaluated by the Company depending on the success of the business plan. Thus, the listing of the Company with the NASDAQ shall not be undertaken in the immediate future. We hope that the foregoing sufficiently answers your query.
