November 6, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2546-98 5 November 1998 Philippine Stock Exchange Listings and Disclosure Group PSE Center, Exchange Road Pasig City RE : Net Income Report Gentlemen : This is to inform you that our company posted P650 Million in net income for the first nine (9) months of the year. This income is a 14% increase from the P570 Million which the company posted during the same period last year. Comparing 3rd quarter performance this year versus last year, the company registered an even higher income growth of 17%, from P117 Million in 1997 to P137 Million in 1998. prLL Consolidated net sales amounted to P13.4 Billion, which is a 15% increase from P11.6 Billion posted from January to September last year. On a quarterly basis, net sales grew by 19%, from P3.8 Billion in 1997 to P4.5 Billion in 1998.
