In reply to the Exchange's query regarding the unusual price movement in the trading of Mondragon International Philippines, Inc. ("MON") shares on October 4, 1999, the company explained that other than its previous disclosure of even date relative to its talks with a US trust fund, the Company is not aware of any other information which would trigger the said unusual movement in the price of its stock.
