October 4, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2498-99 Press Release October 2, 1999 PETRON Brings Down Gasoline Prices Effective 12:01 a.m. today, Saturday, we reduced the pump prices of our premium low-lead gasoline and premium unleaded gasoline by 20 centavos per liter and 15 centavos per liter, respectively. Even while our price increases of Friday, October 1, were not sufficient to cover our increasing crude costs, we have decided to adjust our gasoline prices on account of competitive pressures. llcd We will continue to monitor our crude costs and our selling prices and implement adjustments as called for by the situation.
