With reference to Dizon Copper-Silver Mines, Inc.'s ("DIZ") change in the par value of its shares, the company informed the Exchange, in a letter dated October 29, 1998, that: "Please be informed that we have started to replace the old stock certificates with new ones to reflect the P1.00 par value. Consequently, the fractional shares that will result due to the conversion shall be bought by DCSMI to become Treasury Shares. We have explained this to the stockholders by way of letters and announcement during the recently held annual stockholders' meeting. The fractional shares shall be bought at P0.02 per share.
