September 30, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2466-99 SUBJECT : Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company Further to Circular No. 2437-99 dated September 28, 1999 relative to Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company's ("TEL") acquisition of Smart Communications, Inc. ("Smart"), TEL furnished the Exchange a copy of the Corporate Background and the audited financial statements of Smart for the year ended December 31, 1998. LibLex A copy of the aforementioned document is available for reference at the PSE Centre and PSE-Plaza Libraries.
